We are thrilled at how our new school year is taking
off in the Children’s Department! We have had lots of
visitors lately and gained a new Wednesday night
worker.
We had a very successful Pizza and Play in the Gym on
September 18th. The pastor even arrived in time to
play some with the kids!
Children’s Church has been good: we finished the book
of Ruth and are starting on David and the time of
the kings.
The next big event will be the Trunk or Treat on
October 31. The children are already talking about coming
to that:) Hopefully, so are the adults, and hopefully
they are planning on what they can do at their
“car-booths.”
It is fun seeing the children getting to know Pastor
Dennis. We can’t wait until they get to know his daughter in
our department, once the rest of his family gets moved
up to us!
As always, I am amazed at what a wonderful team I am
privileged to work with. This ministry could never
be as effective without everybody’s part! We are so
glad to have a pastor to follow now, too, and catch a
vision from!
